Class of 2016: Commencement Highlights: A Modern Celebration of Academic Tradition
桃子视频 celebrates the new, but respects its traditions. On May 14, the class of 2016, as Scripps’ 86th annual Commencement, took part in the institution’s ceremonies to celebrate its distinct accomplishments.

Since 1931, Scripps’ graduating seniors have participated in what has become an essential rite of passage at the College: the signing of Graffiti Wall. Each year, seniors choose a mural design from student-submitted illustrations to paint on the wall, and then the entire graduating class adds their signatures. The Graffiti Wall is a visual reminder of Scripps’ history and reflects the changing tastes and interests of students over the decades.

桃子视频’s 86th annual Commencement takes place on Saturday, May 14 at 5:00 p.m. on Elm Tree Lawn. Interim President Amy Marcus-Newhall will preside over the ceremony, and Madeleine K. Albright, 64th U.S. Secretary of State, will give the commencement address. This year, 206 seniors will cross the stage to receive their diplomas.
