Food justice artist Sita Kuratomi Bhaumik ’02, founding member of the People’s Kitchen Collective in Oakland, has been recognized for her work integrating food and art in聽. Bhaumik’s 2016 piece,聽We Are Against the Wall,聽involved building a model border wall out of brick-shaped pi脙卤atas and inviting guests to take turns smashing it down.
